Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20, 2003) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She became famous in the last decade with her lead roles on the Disney television series Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License", was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke numerous records and was one of the most popular songs of 2021. This propelled her to mainstream stardom. She followed it up with songs "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and then released her first solo studio album, Sour (2021), which received critical and commercial success receiving numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary on her creative process for Sour was released in 2022. The singer has also been honoured by an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as in addition to four MTV Video Music Awards. Time announced her as the 2021 Entertainer of the Year . Billboard named her the Woman of the Year in 2022.
Rodrigo has received many awards for her contributions to music, which included three Grammy Awards. [111] Billboard gave her the Woman of the Year award during the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. She also won the Variety Songwriter of the Year honors in 2021,[113] or at the 2022 ASCAP Awards. [114]
