Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she drew the attention of the public in the year 2010. She was able to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to compose catchy, but emotionally sincere songs puts her in the forefront of popular music of the present along with arty and independent pop. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a record deal. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
