Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music as folk-rock and alternative. However, it includes influences like punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani Difranco has been deemed to be a feminist legend and Grammy award-winning. Being one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced in their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
